When is the Pick you own Fruit Season?
Pick-your-own sessions are offered every day throughout the month of May and into early June subject to fruit availability.

When are the Session Times & how long do they go for?
Session times are 10am, 12pm and 2pm.
The two-hour window provides plenty of time to register your arrival, collect your re-usable picking bag and cutting snips, and to walk into the Orchard.
You will be provided with a site induction and directions on where to go for the best fruit and what to look for.
Can I eat as much fruit as i like?
No, but we include one sample of fruit for initial tasting, but we do require that all other fruit picked be weighed in for payment.
Once you have completed your picking, we ask that you make your way back to the registration area for fruit to be checked out.
At this point, we also ask that you return your cutting snips before the next session begins.
Do I get to keep my hessian picking bag?
Yes, Keep your printed hessian picking bag for future use.
Do you offer picnic or park facilities?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer picnic or park facilities.
Should you wish to spend more time in the area we recommend Galston reserve and picnic shed across the road or Fagan Park just past the village of Galston.
Can I bring dogs?
Unfortunately, for the safety and comfort of all our visitors, we do not permit dogs on the premises.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
You can phone us on 0491 265 262 or email info@thepersimmonplace.com.au and we can make changes to your booking for you.
There is a $3 admin fee (non refundable) for cancellations given with 48 hrs notice.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will forfeit all entry fees ($14.50 adult, $5 children).
Bookings can be re-scheduled with 48 hours notice if available.
Is the property wheelchair accessible?
Yes, we strive to accommodate all guests. Please notify us at the time of booking if you require wheelchair accessibility.

What if its raining?
We generally operate sessions in light rain, but if there has been heavy and continuous rain, we may need to cancel the session for safety reasons.
Please stay updated with notifications from us in case of any changes due to weather conditions. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities

Pick Your Own Persimmons Terms
Please only pick what you wish to buy. Don't pick excess of your needs. Leave this fruit for others to pick. All fruit you pick must be paid for.

Bookings can be rescheduled within 48 hours notice if available.
Please include all people in your group at the time of booking and ensure they have read the terms and conditions. The customer making the booking is responsible to ensure rules are followed in their group.
If you require to add people to your booking please book them into the same session depending on availability or call 0491265262.
Visitors are required to comply with all rules instructed by our staff for your safety and the safety of others.
Knives and vegetable peelers are strictly prohibited on the orchard.
Our fruit picking is an all weather experience. If rain is predicted please wear suitable clothing and footwear, in the event of a storm or heavy rain we may temporarily suspend the session until it has passed .
While all care is taken by the Persimmon Place, we are a fully operational Orchard with machinery and dams. Please supervise children at all times.
We have a large car park with additional overflow parking while care is taken parking is at your own risk.
Staff reserve the right to check bags at their discretion our staff are there to resist you please treat them with respect at all times.
